DataImpulse offers a comprehensive range of web scraping and data collection products, from proxies to data sets and data APIs.
User Review Summary
Reviewers report mixed experiences with proxy performance, with some praising the service while others note that IPs are increasingly detected as non residential. Multiple users complain about rapid data consumption and technical issues including payment failures and forced security settings. There is significant dissatisfaction regarding affiliate policies and account blocks. While support is described as responsive by one user, others criticize the team for refusing refunds and failing to resolve balance disputes.
Disappointing and unnecessarily restrictive affiliate program
I had around $21 in affiliate bonus and contacted support to ask a simple question: whether I could use that bonus to purchase $21 worth of residential proxy traffic instead of withdrawing it.
The support agent initially said the affiliate bonus could be credited to my balance, but only after reaching $100. I clarified several times that I was not asking to withdraw the money, but simply wanted to use my existing $21 affiliate bonus toward their services.
Unfortunately, I was told this was not possible and that the affiliate balance could only be used once it reached $100.
This policy makes the referral program feel unnecessarily restrictive. If someone has already earned affiliate credit, it seems reasonable to offer the option to use that credit toward the company's own services, even if the minimum withdrawal threshold is $100.
The support agent was responsive, but the policy itself was very disappointing. If you're considering referring customers, make sure you understand the $100 threshold and the limitations on how your affiliate earnings can be used.
Scam for whole account balance
I was registered, topup balance and dont use nearby one year. Now I want to login to account - they enable a 2FA (code to email) WITHOUT ASK ME. I cant login to account (I have no access to email which I was used an year ago), I cant use my funds and proxy. They just steal my money and they cant temporary disable 2FA.
They used be really good now they are okay
They used to be extremely good last year websites would say their proxy ip's are residential, but now whenever i dataimpulse proxys, it gets detected for using proxy from cloudflare and its really annoying to load up websites from captcha and integrity check. Over the past year they have slowly gotten detected as proxy. on some sites it does not get detected as proxy but there has been a noticeable amount that do get detected as proxy. but for 1$/1GB its not bad. I would still say im satisfied with my purchase it just could be better.
