User Review Summary
Reviewers report that the service effectively bypasses anti bot protections on difficult websites. Users frequently praise the responsive customer support and the platform's stability for client projects. While most find the pricing affordable and the setup simple, one reviewer disagrees regarding support quality and suggests using alternative providers. The ability to monitor requests and receive performance tips is also noted as a benefit.
Reliable, just works and without breaking the bank!
I have tried many similar services for different projects of mine where I needed to get data from other sites. ScrapeOps I have to say is the first I encountered that just works, whatever site I throwed to it, It bypassed any anti bot protection and I got the data and with very reasonable cost. I needed to contact the support once and they responded within 30 minutes on a Sunday! That is a top quality service.
I used Scrape Ops on a client project…
I used Scrape Ops on a client project where I needed something stable without turning the whole job into a proxy maintenance project. Before that, Client was piecing together different providers depending on the target, which worked, but it was messy and not something I wanted to hand over to a client later. What I liked here was the Proxy API plus the residential aggregator combo. It gave me a cleaner setup and cut down the amount of support work after delivery. For client work, that matters more to me than extra features client will probably never use. They are happy with it.
Absolutely Amazing Service!
I recently started using ScrapeOps for my web scraping needs, and I must say, their service is absolutely amazing! From the moment I signed up, everything has been seamless and user-friendly. The platform is incredibly powerful, yet easy to navigate, making it perfect for both beginners and experienced users.
What I love most about ScrapeOps is the reliability and efficiency of their service. The data I get is always accurate and delivered in a timely manner. Their customer support is also top-notch; they are always quick to respond and very helpful with any questions or issues I have.
Overall, I couldn't be happier with ScrapeOps. If you're looking for a reliable and efficient web scraping service, I highly recommend giving them a try. You won't be disappointed!
ScrapeOps API
The ScrapeOps Proxy API Aggregator is an All-In-One Proxy API that allows you to use over 20+ proxy providers from a single API.
Ideal Use Cases
ScrapeOps API is a proxy aggregator that provides access to over 20 providers through a single endpoint. It is used to bypass anti-bot protections and render JavaScript-heavy websites by automatically selecting optimal providers.
Ideal Use Cases
- E-commerce & price monitoring: Bypasses protections on retail sites via 20+ providers.
- JavaScript-heavy sites & SPAs: Headless browser rendering supports React, Angular, and Vue.
- Travel & hotel pricing: Country geotargeting allows localized price scraping.
- Multi-step flows & logged-in sessions: Sticky sessions maintain the same IP across requests.
Poor Use Cases
- Real-time, low-latency lookups: 2-minute retries make it unsuitable for sub-second needs.
- Large-scale crawling: High credit costs up to 25x for JS and residential features.
- Financial & stock data: Standard proxies may trigger blocks on strict rate-limited portals.
- Mobile apps & mobile-only content: Mobile proxy usage significantly increases credit consumption.

Integrating ScrapeOps API
Developers can connect via a REST API endpoint or a standard HTTP proxy port. Authentication is handled by passing an API key as a query parameter or as the proxy password.
curl -k "https://proxy.scrapeops.io/v1/?api_key=YOUR_API_KEY&url=http://httpbin.org/anything"
The proxy gateway uses the address proxy.scrapeops.io:5353. The username is set to scrapeops, and the API key is used as the password to authenticate requests.
curl -x "http://scrapeops:YOUR_API_KEY@proxy.scrapeops.io:5353" "https://httpbin.org/ip"
import requestsfrom urllib.parse import urlencodeproxy_params = {'api_key': 'YOUR_API_KEY','url': 'https://httpbin.org/ip',}response = requests.get(url='https://proxy.scrapeops.io/v1/',params=urlencode(proxy_params),timeout=120,)print('Body: ', response.content)
Examples
ScrapeOps Residential
The ScrapeOps Residential Proxy Aggregator is an All-In-One Proxy API that allows you to use over 20+ residential proxy providers from a single proxy port.
Ideal Use Cases
ScrapeOps Residential is a proxy aggregator that provides access to over 20 residential and mobile IP providers. It is accessed through a single gateway for applications requiring real residential IP addresses.
Ideal Use Cases
- E-commerce & price monitoring: residential IPs emulate real users to bypass anti-bot protections
- Multi-step flows & logged-in sessions: sticky sessions allow maintaining the same IP for multiple requests
- Ad verification: geotargeting allows seeing ads as a real user in specific countries
- Social media data: high stealth mobile IPs help avoid blocks on aggressive platforms
Poor Use Cases
- Real-time, low-latency lookups: mobile IPs are noted as being slower and less stable
- Large-scale crawling: per-GB pricing makes high-bandwidth HTML crawling expensive
- JavaScript-heavy sites & SPAs: product lacks built-in JS rendering compared to the Proxy API
- Screenshots & visual monitoring: no native screenshot functionality documented for this proxy port
