Proxy6 User Reviews
Proxy6 offers a comprehensive range of web scraping and data collection products, from proxies to data sets and data APIs.
User Review Summary
Reviewers disagree on service quality, with a minority praising the affordability and ease of setup. However, most users report that proxies frequently fail, time out, or show incorrect geographic locations. Customers criticize the support team for being unhelpful, refusing refunds, and providing corporate proxies instead of residential ones. Several reports mention significant downtime and slow connection speeds that hinder performance.
Very disappointing service
Very disappointing service — proxies are not working
I purchased multiple proxies from Proxy6, but they are currently not working and repeatedly timing out. I tested them multiple times, and Proxy6’s own checker is showing the proxies as “Non-working” with 0 ms speed.
I contacted support, but instead of properly investigating the issue, I was told that the problem was on my side. However, the evidence from their own proxy checker shows otherwise.
I paid for working proxies, but I’m currently unable to use them. I expect Proxy6 to either fix the proxies, provide working replacements, or issue a refund.
Very frustrating experience. I hope they resolve this properly.
The connection speed is slow and…
The connection speed is slow and unstable. On top of that, there are frequent region configuration errors, and it’s not even that cheap. I highly recommend avoiding this service.
Even when I specify an IPv4 address for a particular country, they provide one from a different country. Even if it’s correct at first, it switches to another country midway through. When I ask them to check it, they just do a half-assed verification on some random website. Their technical skills are incredibly low—they don't even know how to use tracert to verify the connection. I absolutely do not recommend using them."
Scum shop
I purchased ipv4 for a month
— Let's start with the website, which lacks a detailed description of the product: what type of proxy is provided, speed, traffic volume, etc. After the fact, it turned out that these were corporate proxies, but I bought a resident one.
My first impression of the website was, ‘Where did I end up? Is this the internet in 2005? Where is any information on the website about what I will get for my money?’
— Support. To contact technical support, you need to provide personal data: name, email, and phone number, of course, for the subsequent actions that are clear to everyone (referral). There is no other way to contact them and clarify the issue BEFORE spending money.
The website has the legal entity's details, but there is no quick contact option. Nothing strange, right?
— Different checkers show different GEO and IP addresses for this proxy, different from what is stated.
— The speed on UK IP is snail-like, with a delay of 1500–2000 ms.
— Their attitude towards the buyer is ‘It's your responsibility to check.’ Well, I don't have any other choice where to buy a proxy. They don't need the money, right? + They refer to information provided AFTER THE FACT.
Proxy6 Datacenter
Cheapest private proxies. Works on mobile, laptop, and any HTTP/s proxy supporting tool.
Ideal Use Cases
Proxy6 provides individual IPv4 and IPv6 datacenter proxies accessed via HTTPs or SOCKS5 protocols. Users manage and purchase these addresses through a GET based API for automated integration.
Ideal Use Cases
- Market research & review monitoring: individual proxies ensure unique IPs for filtering data
- Job listings: high-speed 30 Mbit/s IPv6 proxies for scraping static job boards
- News & content aggregation: low-cost IPv6 tunnels for high-volume static content
- Brand protection & counterfeit monitoring: individual IPv4/IPv6 IPs for tracking marketplace listings
Poor Use Cases
- SEO & rank tracking: IPv6 proxies are not suitable for Google Wordstat parsing
- Social media data: datacenter IPs lack the residential reputation for security
- Sneaker & ticket purchasing bots: provider terms and datacenter origins often lead to blocks
- JavaScript-heavy sites & SPAs: no documented built-in JS rendering or headless browser capability

Integrating Proxy6 Datacenter
Scrapers connect to the proxy host and port using HTTPs or SOCKS5 protocols. Authentication is handled through username and password credentials or by whitelisting a specific IP address.
