Cost-Effective and Reliable Proxy Alternative
Overall, my experience with Scraping Fish has been excellent. It's reliable, easy to use, and a cost-effective solution compared to other proxy services. The ability to calculate usage upfront is a major advantage, and customer support has been responsive whenever needed. The service has made web scraping much smoother for my projects.
It's a great alternative for proxy providers that charge per GB. If you calculate your needs correctly, this can be a more cost effective solution.
Occasionally, the server response time can be a bit slow during peak hours, but this is rare and generally improves quickly. It would also be nice to have more granular pricing tiers.
Scraping Fish - Ease, reliability, and support
Fantastic! Thank you to the team for staying true to their mission of creating the easiest scraper out there.
Scraping Fish was incredibly easy for us to get up and ready. We were operating with a seamless trial in less than a day and chose to continue with our primary use case when it was clear Scraping Fish met our requirements. Moreover, the team was incredibly supportive when questions did come up. Finally, the pricing is clear and we know exactly what to anticipate in terms of pricing.
It's not fully worth mentioning since it was resolved, but account management like transferring API keys between accounts could be a good thing to include in the Scraping Fish roadmap!
Simple, Reliable and Cheap!
Scraping Fish has very simple pricing plans. I was looking for a pay-as-you-go scraping API and found Scraping Fish and I've stuck with them since! Their documentation is super simple, it's super easy to integrate their API into any application. Overall, it just works. If you just need a simple scraper to extract the data from any URL, this API is perfect for you.
Nothing... maybe a longer expiration date for credits on their smaller plans but a simple email to their founders and I got a great deal.

Ideal Use Cases
Scrapingfish is a web scraping API that uses mobile proxies and real browsers to extract HTML from URLs. Developers access the service via an API endpoint to handle JavaScript rendering and browser automation.
Ideal Use Cases
- E-commerce & price monitoring: All IPs are high-quality mobile proxies by default
- JavaScript-heavy sites & SPAs: JS rendering available with customizable timeouts
- Multi-step flows & logged-in sessions: Sticky sessions preserve cookies and localStorage
- Screenshots & visual monitoring: Dedicated screenshot parameter captures rendered bytes
Poor Use Cases
- Sneaker & ticket purchasing bots: Service does not bypass anti-bots or solve CAPTCHAs
- Real-time, low-latency lookups: Real browser rendering and JS execution add latency
- Large-scale crawling: Fixed $0.002 per request price may exceed bulk budgets
- Search engine results (SERP): Geotargeting currently limited to Poland (Europe)
